We had no senior fixtures this weekend as our First Round Junior Cup game was called off as  Old Christians pitch was unplayable due to the bad weather. Our seconds are the only team in action again this weekend as they welcome UCC to Coonagh for an 11:30am kick off on Saturday.

More great news from the Irish u20s camp as Luke Masters is named on the bench for tomorrows game v Scotland. Jake Flannery again starts at full back while Craig Casey misses out due to injury. There has been a hive of media activity around the Irish 20s this week with Jake Flannery front and center. Watch Irish Rugby TV’s interview with Jake here and read his Irish Independent interview here.

Underage Roundup

It was heartbreak for our u14s Blues on Sunday as they lost by a point, in their final against Young Munster. But what a fantastic game of rugby it was. Both sides played their hearts out. If anything it’s a great sign of things to come. Well done to all.

Our U/10’s hosted a superbly organised blitz in Coonagh last Sunday morning where we had 3 Shannon teams playing against Young Munster, St Marys, Thomond and Eastury RFC. It was a resounding success with some fantastic rugby played by all.

Our U11’s paid a friendly visit to Old Crescent on Sunday and put on a great display.

U10 & U8’s tag teams in action. Thanks to Garryowen RFC who travelled to Coonagh today. Both teams performed brilliantly in freezing conditions.
