CAPTAINS MESSAGE

It is an absolute honour to be writing to you again this season as Club Captain and I do so with as much enthusiasm as ever,as we embark on what promises to be another very exciting season in Division 1A.

I would like to begin by thanking outgoing Captain Ronan Coffey for all his hard work and service through the years, and hopefully, we will see him in the black and blue again soon. I would like to wish our Coaching and Management team, new and old, the best of luck for the forthcoming season and so too, to incoming president Tony Wallace.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to Thomond Park to all referees and officials as well as to our visiting teams, and their supporters, and hope you all have an enjoyable day out, but not too enjoyable of course!

On behalf of the Senior Squad, I would like to welcome back our own members and supporters, young and old, and thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. We hope to see you all out again this season, at home and afar, smiling and singing!

I’d like to sincerely thank all of our volunteers across ourclub, who give their time and effort and make the club what it is, this does not go unnoticed and is extremely valued.

To all our sponsors, we thank you for your assistance and commitment to the club. Your support allows the club to succeed at all levels and is greatly appreciated.

Lastly, best of luck to all men, women, boys and girls who don the famous black and blue in the season ahead.

Alone it stands!

Lee Nicholas
